The Endangered Species Act was passed in 1973 and ever since various groups across the country have celebrated Endangered Species Day. This year Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge is inviting the public to come out for a special program highlighting the endangered species success stories.
On Saturday, May 26, the Refuge will host an interpretive walk on the beach beginning at 10:00am. Registration is required for this event. Call 757-301-7329 to register.
