Come join your friends at the 9th Annual 4th of July Boat Parade in Sandbridge! This year’s event is expected to exceed the 2009 record of 53 decorated boats.
We just got word about another opportunity to support the Family of Will Fentress and wanted to share the info with our friends!
Our friends from Good Vibes Yoga and Beach SUP and Fitness have started a local movement “Ban the Bag in Sandbridge” to raise awareness and ban the use of plastic bags in Sandbridge Beach.
Have you heard the big exciting news? This year Sandbridge Beach is going all out for the 4th of July!
Virginia Beach resident, Will Fentress, was recently in a skateboarding accident that required him to be helicoptered to Norfolk General Hospital where he continues to receive care. Our neighbors in the community of Pungo are putting together several fundraisers to help the Fentress family with medical expenses. Any support our community can provide to theirs would be much appreciated.
If you have not signed up for the Double Clutch Bass Fishing Tournament yet there is still time!
The 2012 Double Clutch Bass Fishing Tournament will be held on June 3 at the Baja Restaurant. The Double Clutch Tournament features four categories: Youth, Shore Fishing, Kayak and Motorized Boat. Prizes are given for the largest bass caught in all categories.
It was nice to see all of our friends and neighbors decked out in red, white and blue at the Sandbridge Shores Memorial Day Parade.
Has your week been as busy as ours? If so, we will guess that means you are ready for this holiday weekend and are looking forward to some down time with your family and friends!
Sandbridge Shores will have an hour long Memorial Day Parade on May 28 at 10 am. Prizes will be awarded for the best decorated bike, golf cart, pet and wagon.
Ladies, mark your calendars! October 11-14 Sandbridge Beach Fitness is hosting an OLA Women’s Weekend at a luxury oceanfront home in Sandbridge and you do not want to miss it!
