The first SB Civic League food drive was a HUGE success! We collected over 30 bags of food and clothing for the Samaritan House. In addition, many of our neighbors made monetary donations to the charity.
This year’s Fourth of July Boat Parade is dedicated to Fred Greene and Jennifer Estes, who both passed away in February. Both had a long history with the boat parade – Fred as the co-founder and organizer and Jennifer as a long-time participant and frequent winner.
Parade lineup begins at 9:30 at Bluebill cul-de-sac. Parade starts at 10:00 a.m. Ends at Wood Duck cul-de-sac.
Awards given for: Best Decorated Golf Cart, Best Decorated Bike/Wagon, Best Decorated Pet
