This isn't chef/owner Charles Thain’s first undertaking in the restaurant biz. He got his start in the industry at only 13 years old, working his way up through local Virginia Beach spots and then attending Johnson & Wales University’s College of Culinary Arts before eventually returning to his hometown. Thain’s signature dishes include fried oysters, crab cakes, and she-crab soups. He likes to prepare the seafood traditionally, and then add his own unique flair.
