After a hearty breakfast, stretch your legs and explore one of our many beautiful landscapes! Winter is the perfect time to go for a walk along the beach. Head down there at low tide so you can go shelling—there’s a wide variety of shells on the beach here in Sandbridge. See how many different kinds you can spot!
There are plenty of other places to get your morning steps in, as well. The Cape Henry Lighthouse is a favorite stop for something new and different. You can learn about not just Virginia’s history but also the history of the United States when you visit here, plus take in stunning views of Virginia’s coastline.
